Due to some technical glitch, our gracious podcast host managed to lose a huge chuck of data and as a result, we have lost all the previous shows, which is really annoying and sad at the same time.

We'll be back with more new shows in the coming weeks, so for those that are subscribed or have book-marked us... thank you for the interest and for enjoying the past efforts that our DJs have painstakingly made. For those that made their way down to catch the sunset with us to the melodious sounds of Salt Tank's "Eugina", we thank you for the die-hard support and for your great company on a cool Saturday evening :)

Despite the requests for the same 10 stale-as-fuck trance anthems (which we ignored), those that were otherwise more receptive in terms of being more open-minded as to what we want to dish out... generally had a wonderful time.

As usual, we had the trademark tom-foolery aplenty in all corners of Cafe Del Mar... and even backstage. But nothing quite beats the "moment X" of having beautiful sun setting in the backdrop with the great trance vibes coming from the DJs and the dancing on the sands with curious onlookers outside of the fence.

Thank you, one and all! It was a massively HUGE one at Ministry last night! Unbelievably fantastic vibe. Beyond amazing. Great punters, superb music and awesome environment... recapturing the earlier days of Progressions at Centro. Our two headliners did us proud!

Yukun started his DJing career in 1991 and was launched into the public eye with repeated guest appearance at Zouk’s “Sessions”. He has garnered over a decade of deck and studio experience and over the last 5 years, amassed worthy mentions and credits from all the big international boys after securing the spot of support DJ for the Gatecrasher tours in Singapore.

In the past years, the popularity and hype revolving around his name has rocketed sky high whilst DJing alongside stellar gods such as Hybrid, Paul van Dyk, Scott Bond, Above & Beyond, Solarstone, Agnelli & Nelson, Pulser, Matt Darey, John Askew, Kyau vs Albert, The Thrillseekers, Lange, Misja Helsloot, Gareth Emery and Mike Koglin…

He has been featured with several guest mix sets for the likes of Solarstone's Deep Blue Radio Show and John Askew's show on VONYC. And dabbling in the world of uber cool afterhours sound, Yukun has also been featured many times on Singapore's Lush 99.5 FM's mix show and is currently hosting his weekly mid-week show with the station.

Effen stormed into the club scene in 2005, with his first club appearance at Zouk's bi-yearly event Localized!. Since then, he has graced the decks of other top clubs in Singapore such as Onyx, DXO and Liquid Room. He is notorious for tearing dancefloors apart with his main sets, weaving seamlessly the sounds of melodic trance,tech-trance and percussive techno, all into one cutting edge, mind-bending, sonic performance.

p@t, known for his trademark thumping styles and his bag of surprises, With countless guest slots in Malaysia, Thailand and Singapore under his belt, adds even more flavour to this night.

Singapore’s pioneering progressive / trance DJ is back for yet another sound-filled outing venturing into the tough progressive edge and moving alongside into the uplifting territory that he is reputated for.

Starting his DJing career in 1991, Yukun's popularity and hype revolving around his name has rocketed sky high in recent years whilst DJing alongside stellar gods such as Hybrid, Paul van Dyk, Scott Bond, Above & Beyond, Solarstone, Agnelli & Nelson, Pulser, Matt Darey... and the list goes on. He has also done vinyl-release-only remix works for international DJs like Chicane, Marco V, Lange, Tiesto and more recently, British trip hop band Lamb.

His career has also brought him all the world from Indonesia to Hong Kong, from Kuala Lumpur to Osaka, and from London to Prague.Back home, he has anchored for brand nights like ongoing Progressions, Acceleration and Space 2020; inclusive of Singapore club residencies at the defunct Centro, Liquid Room and more recently at Barbaablackchic. He has been featured with several globally-based guest mix sets for Solarstone's Deep Blue Radio Show on DI.FM as well as for John Askew’s show on VONYC.

Nice one!

Progressions presents Industry went down successfully last night as a really close-knit network of the night entertainment service staff gathered for a night of merry-making and euphoric mayhem.

Great to see the staff / people that we've known through the years from other clubs that we've either worked in or had events at. With staff from Butter Factory, Happy Bar, Liquid Room, Ministry Of Sound, Skin, St James Powerhouse, Suba and several more. Also thanks to a handful of Progressions regulars for dropping by as well. Hope everyone had a memorable time!

Special thanks to Vikki for helping us to put everything together. Till the next one; plus the resort thingy that we're working towards.
